The British tennis star achieved the most notable success of his career by rallying from a set down to overcome top-ranked player Carlos Alcaraz in three hard-fought sets in the early stage of the Paris Masters.

Although he had previously overcome Alcaraz on two prior meetings, this triumph marks Norrie's first ever win over a reigning world top-ranked player.

Norrie, positioned 31st globally, also stopped Alcaraz's supreme run of nine straight final appearances and 17 successive elite tournament wins, which represented the top run of performances in the Spaniard's developing professional path.
